Three out of the four ladders available on the site during our visit were aluminium in nature. The fourth one was made from wood and came complete with a hatch as well, so you had the complete kit if you wanted it.

First of all they make ladders which are suitable for various situations. For example some of the ladders are constructed so that they fold up into the amount of space required for the hatch itself. For example the loft ladder that comes with the hatch as well has a draught excluder installed all the way around it to prevent heat loss from the floor below into the loft. There is a thumbnail picture of each loft ladder in action, so you can see it in position in a room, leading up to the loft above. In some cases a person was shown climbing the ladder as well.
The name of each ladder was given in the listing, along with a line or two of information about it underneath. This small section of information tells us how many sections the ladder has, whether it is made from timber or aluminium, and whether it is good for just occasional or more regular use.
When you click on the ladder you want to find out more about, you will be able to read more information and stats on the ladder itself. For example these will include the ideal room height of the room below that the ladder will slide down into. All the measurements you need will be in this section, and this information is given in a bullet point format for ease of use.
